The Task:
As part of the growth area plan for the major growth area of Western Ballarat, our senior staff undertook the preparation of an extensive design guidelines document to provide Council with a tool to both advocate for and review town planning applications against.
The Outcome:
The guidelines determined the location, scale, land use, broad structure and interface treatments with surrounding residential neighbourhoods for the future centres of Alfredton and Delacombe. These guidelines then informed the preparation of the Ballarat West Growth Area Precinct Structure Plans.
