The Task:
To obtain approval for the development of a childcare facility at 50 Glen Dhu Street, South Launceston, Tasmania.
The Outcome:
This 94 place childcare centre is a project delivered in association with John Wall Childcare. We developed an existing vacant warehouse within a heritage listed site for a childcare centre. The historic development is located within the City of Launceston, Tasmania, within the Coats Patons Industrial Complex along with many other different land uses. The proposed childcare centre utilises the existing warehouse with alterations made, to provide for two playscape areas including a barnyard. Smart Planning and Design worked closely with the Launceston City Council through a smooth planning process, to deliver a positive development outcome.
